Trade Terms
All XINGHUO Glass export orders are based on FOB (Free On Board). CIF, CFR, and DDP services are not currently provided.
FOB — Free On Board
Our responsibility ends once the goods have passed the ship's rail at the named port of loading (Nanjing or Shanghai). Freight, insurance, and destination charges are arranged and paid by the buyer.
Before placing an order, please confirm that you already have a freight forwarder or are able to arrange one on your side. If you do not have a forwarder, you can either source one locally or provide your destination port so we can connect you with our shipping partners for a freight reference quote.
CIF, CFR and door-to-door (DDP) services are not provided.
Ports of Loading
We load from two major East China ports. The final port is matched to your destination and schedule for best cost and transit time.
Nanjing Port
Inland port close to our factory. Shorter trucking, efficient for full container loads. Commonly used for Europe and North America sailings via Yangtze river transfer.
Shanghai Port
One of the world's busiest container hubs. Wider sailing schedule, more carrier options, and faster connections to most global destinations.
Full container loads (20GP / 40HQ / 40HC) are standard. LCL (less than container load) can be arranged for smaller orders.
Container Loading: FCL vs LCL
Confirm your shipping type before placing an order. Match the container size to your total purchase quantity to keep unit freight down.
20GP
Volume: ~28 m³
Around 600 cartons. Best fit for single-SKU orders around 5,000–8,000 pcs.
GP (40GP)
Volume: ~58 m³
Around 800 cartons. Suitable for mixed-SKU distributor orders.
40HQ
Volume: ~68 m³
Around 1,200 cartons. Recommended for full product-line or container-load distributor orders.
LCL — Less than Container Load
For orders below one full container, LCL consolidation is available. We recommend a minimum of 200 cartons per LCL order to keep per-unit freight reasonable.
Cost alert: LCL destination service charges are often high, typically $500–$1,000 per container at destination ports (especially in the US). On a per-cubic-metre basis, LCL freight is usually more expensive than FCL, which pushes up your retail price. If your volume is close to a 20GP, filling the full container often gives a lower landed cost.
Forwarder Confirmation (Required Before Ordering)
Please confirm if you already have a freight forwarder:
YES — I have a forwarder
Please provide your forwarder's contact information. We will reach out directly to confirm freight, booking, and loading schedule.
NO — I need a forwarder
Please source one locally to handle shipping and customs clearance on your side. Alternatively, provide your destination port and we can connect you with our shipping partners for a freight reference quote.
Tip: Before requesting a quotation or placing an order, please make sure you have the necessary knowledge of importing procedures and destination-country regulations.

The five questions buyers ask most on the first email.
How long does sea freight take from China to Europe or North America?
Typical ocean transit from Nanjing/Shanghai to North Europe (Rotterdam/Hamburg) is 25–32 days; to US West Coast (Los Angeles/Long Beach) 18–25 days; to US East Coast 28–35 days. Add 5–10 days for customs clearance and inland delivery at destination.
What happens if glassware arrives broken?
We pack to ocean-freight standard (see tailored packing). If breakage exceeds the agreed tolerance, submit photos within 7 days of container unloading — we replace the damaged quantity in the next shipment. Full procedure is covered under our quality & compliance policy.
How far in advance should I order during peak season?
Peak season runs from July to October. Place orders 2–3 weeks earlier than the timelines above to secure furnace capacity and vessel space. Q4 holiday shipments should be confirmed by early September at the latest.
Can I combine multiple SKUs in one container (LCL)?
Yes. Mixed SKUs in one container are common for distributors and retail chains. We consolidate, label by SKU, and load under supervision. Distributors can find the program details on the distributor page.
